A good lawyer will make a good case based on the ...

I bought this book because I was the opposing expert witness in a construction claims suit in which Schwartzkopf was the expert for the construction company who had over billed the client hundreds of thousands of dollars and needed to justify their overcharges, which, they claimed, stemmed from owner-caused delay. I thought the book would illuminate how Mr. Schwartzkopf would calculate damages. It did not. In fact, Mr. Schwartzkopf didn't use anything in his own book to forward his own report which was at times
made up of supposition, assumptions and fabrications. Every single assertion Mr. Schwartzkopf made was rejected and the case was a 100% loss for his client. A good lawyer will make a good case based on the contract and easily available case law. You may well find this book a waste of money. After all, if Mr. Schwartzkopf couldn't use his own book to make a classic construction case, how would you?

After reading I understood how to calculate construction damages efficiently, precisely and thoroughly. Schwartzkopf is really a pioneer in the area of construction law. I love when a woman surprises her man especially when the man doesn't think she had it in her, “did I?” And she remembered? That had to mean something. He noticed coleslaw, corn bread, and a cold beer on the table. “Cat, this is really thoughtful. I didn’t know you cooked.” Hank is good man and tries to help his woman out whenever he can, “I loved unpacking your lingerie . Show me what you’re wearing today.” He nuzzled the spot beneath her ear and she felt the corners of his mouth curl in anticipation of her reply." I enjoyed this book, Hank was a good man.

Phenomenal

Worth The Trouble was a phenomenal book. If I were able to give the book a gazillion star rating, I would!
Jamie Beck's writing is exceptional and her character development is tops. Even the most minor character is brought to life and plays a vital role in the book.
Worth The Trouble has many layers and numerous plot lines which keep the reader interested from start to finish. While reading, my heart was broken, my heart sang and my tears flowed. Catalina and Hank set off fireworks and share many heated, yet tender moments. They were made for each other and I was ecstatic they were able to make their relationship work, finally! I liked the fact Hank was the hard working blue-collar guy to Catalina the successful top notch model. To say opposites attract here is an understatement, but it works for the two of them!
I highly recommend this book as well as book one, Worth The Wait, in the St James series. Both books are exceptional reads, ones which will delight readers and possibly be re-read several times!

Sure, she’s still a beauty and could manage quite well for a few more years – but it’s not her passion, it was a way to get her father’s approval. And she no longer needs that. Her former boyfriend who she chose over a chance with Hank has turned out to be an abusive scumbag, one that she has no regrets in leaving behind – along with a restraining order. But perhaps the most difficult and challenging change is a more personal one, a medical discovery that will affect all of her plans for her future.

Hank is juggling more than he can handle. His mother’s illness which had him becoming the main care giver for her and his younger sister. Between Hank and another sister who is a nurse with a family of her own they ten to their mother. Hank makes beautiful furniture, a side hobby and enjoyment although his main career is carpentry/construction work. During his friend’s (and Cat’s brother) wedding ceremony he once again encounters the beautiful Cat, maybe a bit more tipsy than she should be. She blew him off once and he really doesn’t need the drama but the attraction is still there as he comes to Cat’s rescue.

When Cat discovered the beautiful piece of furniture that Hank had made as a wedding gift – ideas started whirling in her head. She had the money, he had the talent – a business together could be profitable, enjoyable and… either the greatest or worst idea she’s ever come up with.

I enjoyed Worth The Trouble very much. It blends romance, a second chance kind of romance with the reality of life – and it does it well. I don’t know anyone who has a picture perfect life and these characters certainly don’t either. Hank has his family to take care of and Cat has fears about her own future but together, with some understanding on both parts they could make a good, happy life together. It simply has to be a decision made, a risk to take and that happy ending could be theirs.

If you love your romance with a healthy dose of reality for the characters tossed in then you would certainly enjoy Worth The Trouble. It is the second in the series, and does mention previous characters but not enough that you’d get lost along the way. I do hesitate to say it could be read as a stand alone, but if anything it would most likely get you fired up to go find the first book in the series. (Worth the Wait is the first story in the St. James series)

A hammer!

R. Stull makes a comprehensive and profound review of the boundary layer meteorology in his book. I consider this book to be a most useful tool for any scientist concerned with the troposphere, for all environmental engineers having to do with air quality, and for all micrometeorologists. Just like a hammer! One of the first to get for one's library. It contains the general descriptions of the usual subjects, thoroughly and well explained. Then it also contains extensive descriptions of different models used to make calculations. This is why I am willing to pay its... unfortunately not-very-low price.

Very comprehensive book, cover all the important topics in Boundary Layer phenomena's: friction - turbulence - stability -fluxes- advection of atmospherics' variables etc' . It is suitable for a student who has already some familiarity with Physics and Calculus (including several variables, vector calculus and partial derivative) I think its excellent book in a fair price.

A Very Thorough Introduction to the Topic

Although I have of course heard of meditation, I hadnt heard of morphic fields. This book is a great
introduction that explains how to get what you want using new (to me) variations on meditation, positive
thinking, letting go and not worrying about the outcome, and if needed brainwave (binaural beats) therapy.
Intriguing possibilities can be opened up; or at least a great aid to relaxation in today's hectic, plugged-in world.

Good but limiting...

There is a lot of good info in this book but as an advanced manifestor I feel like I have also just had a lot of limiting beliefs thrown at me regarding time, amounts of money, etc... The Love section seems to be the best part. I also do not like their heavy body exercise but I don't like a lot of hypnotic inductions that I have tried other than that I think it's good especially for someone that's new to this stuff. I found it interesting that they chose the Alpha State over the deeper states, but I have to say I have had my biggest manifestations seem to come from Alpha work more than deeper states as well. Absorb what is useful and cast a side what is not.

About the Author
Muhammad Amin is currently leading Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Wah Cantt, Pakistan. He has done PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, UET Taxila, Pakistan. He is actively involved in research and teaching. He got best teacher award in 2000 from HEC, Pakistan. He is an author of 12 books and more than 50 research papers in international and national journals and conferences. His current research interests are in Electrical Insulation, Electrical Power systems, and Smart Gird systems.

Mubashir Husain Rehmani is an Assistant Professor at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Wah Cantt, Pakistan. He was a Post Doctoral Fellow at University of Paris Est, France in 2012. He received Ph.D. and M.S. from University of Paris VI and University of Paris XI, Paris, France in 2011 and 2008, respectively. He obtained B.E. from Mehran UET, Pakistan in 2004. His current research interests include Smart Gird, Cognitive Radio Networks, and Wireless Sensor Networks. He served in the TPC of ACM CoNEXT13 SW, IEEE ICC14, and IEEE IWCMC13. He currently serves as a reviewer of IEEE JSAC, IEEE TWireless, IEEE TVT, Elsevier ComCom, and CAEE Journals. He is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE COMMUNICATIONS MAGAZINE, Elseviers Computers and Electrical Engineering Journal and IEEE Access. He is also serving as a Guest Editor of Elseviers Pervasive and Mobile Computing Journal, Elseviers Ad Hoc Networks Journal and Elseviers Computers and Electrical Engineering Journal.

1O/11/97 E-mail (Eugene IV) I wish and hope to see more works by the author Montague Summers. His books are quite rare, and are great to read. I'm delighted to see this work being published again by the famed Montague Summers and his book "The Were Wolf". A thrilling and rather frighful account of a series of events that took place during the 15th and 18th centuries. Father Montague 188O/1948 an English Priest of the Catholic Church goes into depth about the heart chilling details of "The Were Wolf". How the Were Wolf is not just folk lore, but part of the belief of the Catholic Church, that condemned such monster's attributing there existence to the devil or satan "The Father of Lies" Gospel of (John:8 44). Filled with wisdom and historical accounts the priest gives his thoughts on the mind of the Catholic Church during that time, and her practice of burning such for there wickedness. A great book for them that doubt or deny the existence of "The Were Wolf".
