It is August 1946 and the world has fallen silent once more.
Peace.
A peace that one Alliance welcomes with open arms, savouring a real chance for the killing to end.
A peace that the leaders of another side welcome, seeing the end of combat as acceptable for another reason; so that their plans can foment and that their country might be prepared better for the new war to come.
A peace disregarded by others whose fanaticism will grant them no course of action but to continue the fight.
And a peace that yet another faction has its own ideas on and what purpose it might serve in their long-term plans.
Endgame relates the events from when the firing stopped to when Europe once again descended into a savage combat that ensured that the future of conflict on our planet would never be the same again.

Without exception, those characters that are historical figures of fact or based upon historical figures of fact are used fictitiously, and their actions, demeanour, conversations, and characters are similarly all figments of the author’s imagination.]

Endgame--but not the final moves--yet!
By Rodger Raubach
I purchased the Kindle version of the book in order to satisfy my hunger for the outcome of this ever improving series, and I was not disappointed. There is great improvement in the writer's style and overall story telling ability through the progressive installments of this still-not-concluded series of books describing the Third World War running from 1945 through 1947. The present volume is filled with the trademark blood, violence, and guts--but has a deeper plotline which has really intrigued me deeply. The author stated on his website that there was just too much for one book to contain in wrapping up the alternate history of the war between the Soviet-Japanese axis and the Western powers of Germany, Britain, France, and the USA. The book is a real page turner and I stayed up reading until my eyes would no longer focus on the screen of my Kindle, and was "forced" to conclude it over my breakfast coffee
Spoiler alert: be prepared to lose several very significant and major characters, many of whom have been in the series from volume 1. No more spoilers from me! Buy the book! Enjoy! Cliffhanger ending!!

Book 7 continues the best WWIII Post WWII AH series published
By Bob
Book 7 continues the best WWIII Post WWII AH series published. I like the people he brings to life (and death in many cases) making them seem real. The author has a very good grasp of the technical changes that war would bring on. Would like more about what is going on in the Pacific, fear the Japanese will really be starving at this point in time. Not war porn as favorite participants die, both good guys and bad. I also agree with another poster that the Americans should be doing somewhat better than they are in this book. That is a small quibble. I am hoping that Book 8 ends the series as it really needs to come to an end. A post war book on the social and political aspects would be good, but very hard to do I bet.

This series just continues to get better!
By Gary A. Banner
In the seventh installment of this series the author has pulled out all the stops. The action is grander and bloodier than ever before. Characters that we have come to love over the years don't all make it to the end of this massive tome. Don't let the length scare you off though, because it is truly the proverbial page turner. It's quite understandable why the author decided he would be doing the story, the characters, and most importantly, his readers, a disservice is he tried to wrap everything up in this volume, but has decided to finish it in one more final installment to come. As I previously wrote, not everyone comes out alive, and we are left with some big cliffhangers, but the departures are entirely in line with the scope of the story. There were some great turns of the plot as well where I thought "I didn't see that coming". All in all, Mr. Gee has continued to produce a fine story that while I anticipate the next and final installment, also dread this great series coming to an end.
